If you want to have smooth, plump and younger looking skin, Restylane® is for you! Restylane® is a non-surgical treatment for facial lines and wrinkles and may also be recommended to those patients who want to enhance their lips and cheeks. Restylane® contains hyaluronic acid (HA), a natural substance that is made by your body to maintain healthy skin. As you age, your skin produces less hyaluronic acid, causing it to lose hydration and resulting in lines, wrinkles, creases, and folds that can make you appear old.

Restylane®, a gel form of hyaluronic acid, works with the natural components of your skin to even out fine lines and wrinkles and give you a natural-looking fullness that makes your skin appear youthful and radiant. Restylane® revitalizes the skin, increasing the skin’s natural elasticity. Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a substance produced naturally in our bodies that attracts and binds with water, helping the skin retain moisture and thus restore a more smooth and youthful appearance.

Dr. Jared Nimtz

Dr. Nimtz is a Lexington board-certified plastic surgeon who is highly skilled, experienced, and truly cares about his patients. Through a conservative, classic approach to surgery he provides natural-looking results that are attractive and proportionate.

Meet Dr. Nimtz

If you are looking for a non-surgical approach to anti-aging treatments, Restylane® is made from a natural element in the body, so allergic reactions are rare. Folds and creases fade naturally and gradually as a result of the increased hydration in your skin cells, provided by the hyaluronic acid that Restylane® gel delivers.

During your procedure, the area that is going to be treated will be numbed with a topical ointment that will numb the skin and minimize discomfort. After you are numb, the Restylane® will be injected into the skin using an ultra-fine needle. Dr. Nimtz injects Restylane® into the treatment area, and the HA immediately goes to work attracting water to the area. After the injection, we will gently massage the area to evenly distribute the gel. Once this is complete, you are finished and ready to go back to your normal activities.
