What is breast augmentation recovery like?
While recovery varies from patient to patient, most women need about a week of downtime before returning to work and non-strenuous activities. You should avoid lifting anything heavy for a few weeks. Swelling and bruising are typical but gradually subside. Most patients can resume workouts at around 6 weeks post-op. After 2 to 3 months, women usually feel “back to normal” and can appreciate their natural-looking and beautiful results.
Will my breast implants feel natural?
During your consultation, you will have the opportunity to feel both silicone and saline implants and compare for yourself! Many women find that silicone implants placed under the chest muscle (submuscular) provide the most natural-feeling results.
Can I breastfeed after breast augmentation?
Breast augmentation with implants or fat transfer usually does not interfere with breastfeeding. However, Dr. Nimtz can use a surgical technique that avoids the milk ducts, glands, and associated nerves to reduce the possibility of any breastfeeding complications in the future.
Will I need to replace my implants?
