HOW IS IT PERFORMED?
Typically neck lift surgery takes between one and three hours to complete. The procedure is performed through tiny incisions, which are discreetly placed on the underside of your chin. Most patients require only one or two weeks to recover following their neck lift procedure. To protect and support delicate tissue following your procedure your neck will be wrapped in a compression bandage. Occasionally some patients experience mild tenderness, swelling, or soreness as well as temporary skin numbness and tightness. These symptoms tend to resolve within a few days. For the first 10 days after your neck lift, Dr. Nimtz will advise you to keep your neck and head elevated and to avoid irritating the area.
